Woodcock Hunting on Isle of North Uist, Western Isles of Scotland

A 13 bedroomed luxury hunting lodge is available here if you require to stay here. shooting is normally Monday -Friday and is available as a weekly package along with the wildfowling the woodcock and snipe last year 2007 was awesome but its difficult to predict numbers each year so its really down to chance when you arrive but a normal day would be 60 sightings and 10-15 bird shot. Best Time of the season November-January no dog charge.

Red Deer area available also if you wish to stalk while here.

Our six bedrooms vary in size and view and have TV, tea/coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones. There is easily controllable heating in all rooms and heated towel rails in the ensuite bathrooms.

By Air
You can fly into Glagow or Edinburgh there are 2 flights daily into Benbecula 7 days a week. Benbecula's airport ia at Balivanich and there are direct flights to Glasgow the island is connected by causeways to both North and South Uist.

Ferries
There are 3 car ferry's in daily use back and from the mainland.
