Woodcock Shoot on Isle of Lewis, Scottish Islands

General Game season - 1st October - 1st February - we only shoot Woodcock from the 1st week of DECEMBER and we limit numbers of birds shot this iscompany policy from 2019 to protect our native birds 

Woodcock Hunting Isle of Lewis - using our recommended Keepers. 

Grouse season:- 12th August - 10th December (great walked up grouse over pointers same cost)

Welcome to a woodcock paradise living at an old fashioned but very comfortable lodge, we run the trip as 4 nights accommodation and 3 days woodcock/grouse if required in season and some duck flighting also in season. Driven and walked up woodcock included in the package or over pointers at a small extra cost per day. The lodge sleeps 12 persons. Best Time of the season November-January.

Rates:-

• Minimum of 6 guns, maximum of 8.
• Personal chef/cook for the group.
• Note we can arrange hotel accommodation if required!
• Group hunting cost of £1580 a gun  3 days hunting 4 nights accommodation.
• Includes costs of dogs and guides tips are priced at £25 per person per day

Bag:-

Expect to lift 40-60 birds a day and shoot 10-12 pinned it depends how good you are on woodcock expect in season to bag some grouse as well.

Collection from airport POA but we advise to hire vehicle and travel to the ferry terminal which we will arrange for you nearest airport at Stornoway on the Island there are regular BA flights from London, we will collect and deliver you back to the airport £50 per 4 persons. 1 vehicle based on 4 or if 6 2 vehicles £100.
